This Vintage American Bisque Clown Cookie Jar remains in nice condition for its age with most of its cold paint on top of the glaze. Circa 1940’s. He wears a red hat on top of his bald head and wears clown makeup on his face. He wears a blue and pink outfit trimmed with blue ruffled collar and black buttons. Marked “USA” on the rear bottom of outfit. It also retains its original sticker on the lid. This Vintage American Bisque Clown Cookie Jar would make a great gift for the cookie jar collector or for someone with clown collectibles. There are no visible chips of cracks, however, there is crazing which is appropriate for a ceramic piece this old.
Measures approx. 12″ tall
Condition: Very good, no chips or cracks noticed. Some cold paint missing. Crazing which should be expected with a piece this age. Please review all pictures carefully. You should expect wear with these second hand / vintage items to be commensurate with their age.
