PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This unique and rustic Mexican Primitive Art Hand Carved Violin shaped like a ceremonial mask sure to be quite the conversation piece. Starting with the Scroll (top of the neck) sits what appears to be a snake’s head wearing a ceremonial headdress. A primitive face with cutout eyes, nose and mouth decorates the base of the violin along with geometric carving around the edge. Comes with its bow and has hardware attached on reverse side to allow hanging on the wall. Though not in pristine condition, its imperfections add to its charm and character. This Mexican Primitive Art Hand Carved Violin would be appreciated by a collector.
Measures approx. 21″ tall x 6″ wide.
Condition: Good, some bend in strings, bridge include but not attached and belongs under the strings. Signs of age and wear. Please review all pictures carefully. This a second hand / vintage item so wear should be expected to be commensurate with its age.
