In 1981 Mego Corp introduced 65 PVC figurines depicting clowns in different outfits and jobs in the “Clowning Around” series. This is believed to be the Mego Corp Clowning Around Elton Clown. The Mego Corp Clowning Around Elton Clown features a very boldly styled clown with sunglasses.
***We have researched every possible site dedicated to the 1981 Mego Corp’s Clowning Around. There are no pictures or descriptions of the Elton Clown to be found. We found almost all 65 other versions. The ones we were not able to find had an easy descriptor to figure out which clown it was. We have not seen a picture of this clown on the internet. Based on that this seems to be the rare Elton Clown from the second wave of issued clowns.***
