Limited Edition Cleo and Figaro Disney Cookie Jar…Coming Soon!
Aunt Gladys’ Attic by SerStyle is very excited to announce that we will have one of the rarest (non-vintage) cookie jars coming soon. Pinocchio is one of the most beloved Disney Movies and has a host of characters that fans fell in love with. Two of those characters were Cleo and Figaro. Both are beloved pets of Geppetto and are often remarked as some of the cutest characters in the Disney family.
Figaro is extra special to Dinsey fans as it is widely known how much Walt Disney loved him. He often called Figaro his favorite character. Disney even decided to give Figaro a new owner in Minnie Mouse. With Minnie Mouse as his new best friend Figaro has enjoyed more screen time in Dinsey shorts.
Craftsmanship at its best!
The Cleo and Figaro cookie jar is simply magical. Careful attention to detail was paid when crafting this kitchen centerpiece. Weighing close to 20lbs. this jar features Figaro on the lid and a real glass bowl for Cleo. Inside Cleo’s bowl there is a ceramic fish castle for her swimming pleasure.
Why so rare?
We believe this cookie jar to be from 2004. From what we have found this was a limited run of 350 (a typical limited edition amount for Disney cookie jars). While it does come from a limited batch, what makes the cookie jar rare is that it is reported many of the jars broke in transit after they were purchased. The last time we have seen it for sale or auction was in 2014.
Coming Soon
We are excited to say we are in possession of one of these hard to find treasures. While it is all intact, the ceramic castle has come loose from the base. If you were not told the castle had come loose you really would not be able to tell. The piece is still very lovely and displays just as nice as if it was intact. It will be the perfect addition to any Pinnochio, Disney, or Cookie Jar enthusiasts collection. While this piece is lovely, we are in talks to possibly get a second (which we can not even believe). We will be listing our current one at $1,250 + shipping.
