This Vintage Shawnee Great Northern Dutch Girl Cookie Jar is just darling. Blue and white paint mimics and a nod to delftware. She wears a blue rimmed hat, blue trimmed apron and blue ribbons in her pigtails. Her apron decorated with an impressed diamond pattern and her dress with a ribbed pattern. Circa 1940’s/1950’s. A wonderful place to store your cookies. Incised “Great Northern USA 1026” on the bottom. Measures approx. 10½” tall
Condition: Very good with still wonderful paint. Small chip on foot. Light crazing which would be expected with a piece this age. Please review all pictures carefully. You should expect wear with these second hand / vintage items to be commensurate with their age.
